Description

The Addison R.F.C. T-Shirt. A vintage inspired design inspired by the Addison Rugby Football Club. Featuring on this T-Shirt is the Addison R.F.C. Crest across the chest in addition to Ellis Rugby branding on the arm.

The establishment of Addison RFC took place in 1869 with about 50 members. The club’s name is due to its origins in the part of Kensington to the west of Holland Park where the streets are named after the politician Joseph Addison.

The club was one of twenty one founding members of the Rugby Football Union. The founding clubs choose to hold an election for who would feature on the 13 member committee. Addison Rugby Football Club did not receive a place on the committee of the newly formed Rugby Football Union.

The Red House Farm in the present Little Wormwood Scrubs was the original home of Addison Rugby Football Club. 1872 saw the club move to the Rifle Pavilion which was on the corner of North Pole Road and Wood Lane. The ground was titled the Rifle Pavilion because of the rifle ranges nearby on Wormwood Scrubs. The clubs final move took placed in 1874 when the club moved to Shepherd’s Bush Green.

1875 featured the disbanding of the Addison Rugby Football Club after just 6 seasons.

Manufactured from ‘soft touch’ cotton. The Addison R.F.C T-Shirt features stylish appliqué and embroidery. Also featuring on this garment is herringbone detail on the vents and a woven ‘21 Club label’ sewn to hem. In addition Ellis Rugby branding features on the arm.

The Addison R.F.C T-Shirt is available in sizes M – 2XL. The Addison R.F.C. T-Shirt is available in either Red or Navy colours.
