This 6 Panel traditional baseball style cap is manufactured in 100% Navy Cotton with the Ellis Rugby Crest applique on the front and the classic ‘Pride in the Jersey’ embroidery on the side. The cap includes matching navy peak, side lining and stitch vent holes. The back includes a woven branded tag and a buckle adjuster. One size fits all.

William Webb Ellis was an excellent all-round sportsman and after leaving Rugby School, he played cricket for Oxford University against Cambridge University in 1827. He graduated with a BA in 1829, and received his MA in 1831. Ellis will however always be remembered for the famous incident in 1823 which helped form the great game of rugby. William Webb Ellis was also a fine cricketer and represented his college as well as Oxford University.
