Having played for Stadoceste Tarbais and RC Toulonnais between 1964/65 and 1977/78, Carrère’s influence on the pitch was profound. Notably, in 1968, Carrère was instrumental in France’s historic Grand Slam triumph, a defining moment in the country’s rugby history.
