From 1975 to 1977. Also, a second spell from 1981 to 1983. Then there were Welsh players. Big Jim Mills played between 1970 and 1972. In addition, Merv Hicks, who was born in Crosskeys in Monmouthshire. And played alongside Mills during the 1971-72 season making a formidable partnership. In addition, Norths had Roy Francis as coach for the 1969 NSWRFL season and stayed until 1970.
