The Triple Blue Rugby jersey. A vintage inspired design incorporating a quartered crest containing the English Rose and symbols celebrating C.N. Lowe’s military achievements.

C.N. Lowe MC, DFC, an England Rugby international (18 tries, 25 caps), a 1st World War flying ace credited with nine victories, and supposedly the inspiration for W. E. Johns’ character “Biggles”

He was a Cambridge University student and won rugby blues in 1911, 1912 & 1913, making him a rare ‘Triple Blue’. He also played in four England Grand Slam winning sides until his retirement in 1923.

Manufactured from satin touch 100% Cotton. The Triple Blue Rugger features a quartered crest including the English Rose and symbols celebrating C.N. Lowe’s military achievements on the front chest. Also included on this garment is herringbone detail on the side vents and velvet tape on the neck opening. In addition the vintage Cambridge Lion and Ellis Rugby branding feature on the arms.

The Triple Blue Rugger is available in sizes S to 4XL.
