Bath Rugby 1865 Polo
Although Bath Rugby currently wear the iconic blue, black, and white colours which originated from the Lansdown Cricket Club, whose members founded the rugby club in 1865. Early teams initially played in blue and black as well as white, and red. Player T.J. Gandy influenced a shift to blue and black, though red remained on the crest, drawing an aesthetic resemblance to the battle dress of the French Zouave light infantry.
