Bath Rugby XV Polo
Bath Rugby XV Polo
This sample was produced for the famous Bath Rugby club. The Polo design was part of a collection Ellis Rugby created for Bath Rugby.
Bath Rugby originally played in blue jerseys, white shorts, and red caps. In the late 1800s, this shifted to a blue and black strip. Following the influence of early club member T.J. Gandy, the colors were shifted to blue and black prior to the 20th century.
The design includes the formation date of 1865 inside a bold single hoop alongside the clubs official heritage crest and XV signifying the rugby team of Bath.
