Ellis Rugby linked up with French Rugby League pioneers Catalans Dragons last week, providing the players with a selection of the companies vintage International Rugby League range.

The collection was warmly received by the multi-nation group of players (as shown on the video below). Stars of the game posed for photos on the famous Stade Gilbert Brutus in Perpignan, including the former Wigan hero and Great Britain star Sam Tomkins, 9 cap Kiwi Sam Moa, former Australia Kangaroo Greg Bird and France International Mickaël Simon.

The Catalans Dragons are the only French club playing in the top flight of Super League and pulled off one of Wembley’s biggest upsets as the unfancied French side beat Warrington to win their first Challenge Cup last season.

No team from outside England had ever won the trophy in its 122-year history. But in front of 50,672 – former England coach Steve McNamara’s Dragons were deserved winners.
