Les Hoole has followed Rugby League since the age of ten. When he first watched his hometown team of Wakefield Trinity. He now lives in Drighlington. With his wife Dianne, daughter Verity and son Ben. In the summer he watches as much rugby as he can. And attempts the occasional pilgrimage to Belle Vue to see his beloved Trinity.
In winter he is an avid fan of Bradford City. And divides his time between watching the Bantams. And following the progress of his son who plays in goal for Drighlington Juniors.
He writes for various football magazines. Also, club programmes as far apart as Bradford and Plymouth.
Les has two weekly columns in the Rugby Leaguer. In addition, he contributes regularly to various club programmes and newspapers. This is his fifth book on Rugby League. And he has also written a guide to the collecting clubs of Great Britain.
